⭐ Yesterday at #CEM15 we were part of an insightful side event ‘Decarbonising Cement with #CarbonCapture’ jointly organised by the @CEMSecretariat CCUS Initiative and CEM IDDI, and supported by the @MICleanEnergyRD Net Zero Industries Mission.

Our CEO, Thomas Guillot and @ClaudeLorea our Cement, Innovation and ESG Director were part of discussions on the importance of carbon capture for the global #CementIndustry including ways to accelerate, and reducing climate impact via carbon capture focusing on the role of robust GHG accounting methodologies.
The event also covered #CCUS as a lever to decarbonise cement in India.

🎉 Alongside this, the MI Think Tank launched its Inclusivity Series at an event alongside the Carbon Dioxide Removal Mission and @IRENA. The series focuses on key just transition topics such as community engagement, gender equality, youth empowerment, and energy poverty.
