@drmmr763 if you use safari and type in ftp://username@password:myftpsite.com/somepath can you successfully log in?

@drmmr763 typically that is due to non encoded characters in the username or password ( I use Safari's built in FTP support ).

@ibobx It is,however the NSTextView and the UITextView are quite different. The former can draw attributed strings while the latter can not

@ibobx Yeah,I use that for desktop stuff, unfortunately this level of support isn't there for CocoaTouch If it were, I'd be done by now :-)

Code coloring: if #javascript didn't feel so non-native I would use #JS... but #native is still the way to go. Nothing else feels right
