🚨"Without immediate intervention, the last reporters in Gaza will die", reports AFP.
"Along with a few others, they are now the only ones left to report what is happening in the Gaza Strip... We refuse to watch them die", it continues.
Tonight @GaryLineker chairs a discussion with #Gazan medics after a showing of the film #DoctorsinGaza - broadcast on @channel4 last night after the @bbc refused to show it. He seems shocked at the evidence of starvation and injuring of children.
“Gaza: doctors under attack” will finally be released this week after months of delay. It chronicles Israel’s targeting and destruction of Gaza’s hospitals and medics, 1,500 of whom have been killed.
See it on @zeteo_news internationally and Channel 4 in the UK from Wednesday.

Al Jazeera has published the names of every journalist killed since Oct 7th.
231 Palestinian journalists have been slaughtered in Gaza. A whole generation of reporters wiped out while many of their colleagues in the West simply shrugged.
“Al-Shabaab is no longer just a terror group launching sporadic attacks; it is capturing strategic towns, creeping ever closer to the capital…”

@priest_rebel Hi Richard! I knew the ICC was on his case and closing in and, as relations deteriorated with Marcos, his arrest suddenly seemed more possible. But I really didn’t think he’d be extradited so efficiently! Now he’ll enjoy due process… unlike the many thousands he had killed
International criminal lawyers used to say #Duterte was “a prosecutor’s dream.” Now the #ICC will test that. Find out about the #Philippines’ “Duterte Harry,” charged with crimes against humanity: I highly recommend this book! https://t.co/PAxE5s9yHc @scribepub@AsiaLitAgency
Remembering all my friends from Homs who looked after us in the dark days of 2012 when Marie was killed and we were all so badly wounded. You never gave up on us, and many never made it through. Thank you all and enjoy the sweet taste of freedom. Shukran 🙏 ❤️❤️ #Syria#Homs
@DavidLammy In response to your comment suggesting there are no journalists in Gaza, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Yousef Hammash, and I was born and raised in Jabalia Refugee Camp in northern Gaza.
I am a journalist who has reported extensively for international media on what you described as a “conflict,” including for Channel 4 and many others from inside Gaza. My reporting has been recognized with honors such as a BAFTA, an Emmy, an RTS, an FPA and others.
I was forced to leave in April 2023 and am currently based in London, producing on a daily basis with a network of courageous Palestinian journalists who are still in Gaza while access to international journalists remains restricted.
I would be happy to meet and discuss further should you wish to learn more.
I am unfazed by Duterte's violent gesture against me. After all, he dug his own grave today with his personal invitation to the ICC.
I welcome the pronouncement of Malacañang that the Philippine Government, at long last, will cooperate with the ICC and Interpol, should they serve arrest warrants against Duterte and his cohorts.
I hope they come soon, so justice and healing may finally start for the families of all the victims of Duterte’s crimes.
Covering the war in Israel
and Gaza has been one of the most challenging “stories” for so many of us. We at Channel 4 News are very proud of this award but also remembering so many colleagues.
Excited that my new book 'I Brought the War With Me; Stories and Poems from the Front Line" will be featured in this Sunday's @ObsNewReview@guardian@ChattoBooks@vintage
BREAKING: PH government will not stop the ICC from interviewing 5 people that it tagged as suspects in the ICC’s probe into the PH War on Drugs — Senator Bato dela Rosa, former PNP Chief Oscar Albayalde, and 3 others.
Solicitor General Menardo Guevarra confirms on #TheBigStory that the Philippine government has received an official request for assistance from the ICC for this “interview”, and confirms the authenticity of the document revealed by former Sen Trillanes.
He says that while the Palace has not given its final response, government “will not get in the way” of the ICC investigation. || @onenewsph@News5PH
