Tonight, the Empire State Building tower lights will turn to a pink sparkle at 9:25 to honor the late Dolly Parton.

I went with the kids in Paris to find ping pong paddles and 5 minutes after leaving our apartment, we saw this place called “We Pong!” The door was locked. The owner came and said, “Sorry, we open in 2 weeks.” I told him “Sadly, we will be gone from France in two days…”

He had no idea who I was but he saw the disappointment on my son’s face and said, “You can come in and play for free right now!”

Earlier this year, I had the honor of meeting Masza Rosenroth, a Jewish woman who somehow survived the concentration camps of Birkenau and Gross-Rosen during the Holocaust. She shared her story with me, which I’ll be sharing with you soon.

A few weeks ago, we lost Masza at the age of 102. Sending love to her family and all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing.
