Four members of the MIT softball team have been named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball team, recognizing their achievements both on the diamond and in the classroom.

The MIT softball team placed four student-athletes on the NFCA All-Region Team. The Engineers had two First Team All-Region athletes in Lauren Sundquist and Holland Poe, while Delaney Benevides and Olivia Scarpaci were named to the third team.

The No. 25 MIT softball team has been selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Softball Championships and will be heading to Bangor, Maine, for the Husson Regional. Joining MIT and Husson in the regional are Endicott and Colby.
