At The Educational Bookshop in Occupied East Jerusalem, the mission is clear. “To promote Palestinian literature, Palestinian writers, highlight and shed the light on the Palestinian issue, on the Palestinian story," explains General Manager Ahmad Muna.

Another day of struggle for Palestinians living in Nur Shams refugee camp. A raid may be over but the rain has just begun. Trying to walk across the street is hard enough. Trying to drive down it is even harder.

Thanks everyone for making this possible for us.
On Friday, the first day of the ceasefire, a group of 39 Palestinian women & children were released from prison. I spoke to one of them, Amani Hasheem, who told me:
“I'm still in shock that I am free. I feel like I'm in a dream..seeing my children, my family, my relatives.”
For Saadat Ghryib, home feels like a prison. That was the case long before October 7. And he knows it'll stay that way long after.
Latest piece for @AJEnglish from @RZabaneh, Joao Duarte & me.

Signs of progress. #SAGAFTRA and studios return to bargaining two-and-a-half months after actors' strike began. Major CEOs joined. The two sides - #AMPTP and @sagaftra - just now ended talks for today, saying that they will resume on Wednesday. @latimes https://t.co/ipqg3egG8t
