The Coconut Development Board (CDB) organised the World Coconut Day celebrations today at Angamaly, Kochi, Kerala. The occasion was marked by the inauguration of the Farmers’ Hostel and the launch of restructured CDB schemes.

Dr M. K. Raghavan, Hon'ble MP Kozhikode, #Kerala and CDB Board Member, inaugurated the Farmers’ Hostel. Dr Prabhat Kumar, Horticulture Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer of CDB, presented the Export Excellence Awards to nine manufacturers, while Shri Subhanagarajan released the latest CDB publications.

The programme drew the participation of over 2,000 farmers and stakeholders from across the region, underscoring the strength and vibrancy of India’s coconut sector.

When Parliament is silenced, the streets must roar.

The issue of Chinese incursions is not just serious, it strikes at the heart of national sovereignty. We have repeatedly demanded answers, both inside and outside Parliament.
