The decision by South African President @CyrilRamaphosa to place inequality at the heart of the G20 agenda is historic. It marks a significant step forward on the long road toward greater equality. It is no coincidence that countries from the Global South—Brazil and South Africa—have led the charge to put tax justice and social justice on the G20 agenda in recent years.
The World Inequality Lab wecomes @JosephEStiglitz's report and back its call for a global panel on inequality, modelled after the IPCC. It’s time to scale up the work we’ve championed for over 10 years to measure and address the drivers of inequality.

Shouldn’t planting beds have been built into the paving here @SarahWoodberryD like in the plans?
The last thing we need is another big area that a vehicle can #pavementpark on, especially when the road surface is raised as part of the planned speed table. Thanks for checking.🌱

Architects can—and should—embrace inclusive, walking and cycling-friendly design solutions. In the face of the climate crises, rapid urbanisation, and pressing housing needs, the role of architects and city planners is to push forward these crucial changes. #IAPEX2024
Last weekend I had the privilege of presenting at the IAPEX_LC 2024 in Lahore, organised by the Institute of Architects of Pakistan. I was invited Dr Mamuna Iqbal convenor of the Convention #IAPEX2024
While there have been advocacy efforts in this direction during COVID from Urban Innovation lead by Lahori urbanist @situationTO, still active mobility is often not a key priority in municipal agendas in Pakistan and city planners must start making space for it.
Me llegan vuestros memes, claro.
