The Gender Minister, Hon. Naa Momo Lartey, has intervened in a #sexualabuse case involving a 6-year-old #girl in Denkyira Kwaboso after a report on Ahenfie FM.

The Minister is working with #authorities to ensure #investigation & #legalaction .

Discussions centered on improving #maternalcare , staffing & #emergency referrals to #protect pregnant & lactating mothers.

The Social Protection Directorate of @MoGCSP_Ghana, held a National Validation Workshop to review & validate the Framework for Coordination, Collaboration & Complementarity of #SocialProtection in #Ghana.

This will build a stronger #system for better impact & service delivery.

On 30th July, #Ghana joined the world to commemorate the '2026 #WorldDayAgainstTraffickingInPersons' (#BlueDay) with a symposium to reflect on Ghana’s progress in combating #humantrafficking and chart the way forward.

Ghana also celebrated its 20th #Anniversary of the HT #Law.

Ghana has received the final Work Plan for the #AUChampion on Gender and Development 2026-2028.

The plan, presented by the AU Commission on Women, Gender & Youth Directorate, after a 3-day workshop, will guide action to advance #genderequality across #Africa under #Agenda2063.
