Located in Northeast Minneapolis, next to MPHA's Spring Manor high-rise, Clare Apartments serves people living with HIV. This project is a great example of how MPHA directly supports deeply affordable housing in Minneapolis beyond its own ~6,000 units.

MPHA recently partnered w/ @iuoe_union Local 70 to provide the agency’s operating maintenance engineers hands-on training for a new type of boiler being used in some MPHA high-rises, helping ensure staff have the knowledge they need to maintain these critical building systems. 🔧
MPHA will begin leasing the five new family units in August, with the goal of having families moved in by early September. With >3,500 families on the agency's family housing waitlist, these new multiplexes are critical pieces of city infrastructure.
Today, @MayorFrey and @MplsWard11 joined MPHA leaders to celebrate the completion of its newest family housing—an all-electric triplex and duplex in two South Minneapolis neighborhoods. Read more about MPHA’s newest family housing units: https://t.co/jRQ2x2cveK
The two multiplexes were enabled by the @CityMinneapolis’ 2040 Plan and funded, in part, by the city's housing tax levy providing $1.25M in funding. These multiplexes join MPHA’s portfolio of ~800 deeply affordable scattered site family homes spread across the city.
