It is exhausting for our community to continuously hear of these stories. Canada continues to be have one of the highest rates of Islamophobic killings amongst the G7 countries. It is time to take action against Islamophobia. The work is not done.
No words can describe the shock we feel over the reported attack on a Muslim woman in front of her 7-year old child in New Brunswick. The mother and child are left with a deep impact to their well-being. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims and their family π

The Muslim Resource Centre for Social Support & Integration (MRCSSI) joins the global community in mourning the victims of the horrific shooting at the Islamic Centre in San Diego, which happened on May 19 (1/3).
Islamophobic attacks such as these are not isolated and do not happen in a vacuum. As we approach the anniversary of the deadly attack in our own local community, we are reminded that Islamophobia continues to take lives and impact communities (2/3).
