It is exhausting for our community to continuously hear of these stories. Canada continues to be have one of the highest rates of Islamophobic killings amongst the G7 countries. It is time to take action against Islamophobia. The work is not done.

No words can describe the shock we feel over the reported attack on a Muslim woman in front of her 7-year old child in New Brunswick. The mother and child are left with a deep impact to their well-being. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims and their family 💙

We continue to remember Our London Family who were killed in an Islamophobic terrorist attack five years ago today.

Today and every day, we say no to hate in our cities, communities, neighborhoods, public and digital spaces, schools, work places, and in our homes and hearts.

We had an amazing turnout for our Youth and Service Provider Open House today! 💜

We had rich discussions about the reality of Islamophobia and Gendered Islamophobia, and what is needed to create change. Youth also participated in a healing art workshop with Art by Aruba 🎨

Islamophobic attacks such as these are not isolated and do not happen in a vacuum. As we approach the anniversary of the deadly attack in our own local community, we are reminded that Islamophobia continues to take lives and impact communities (2/3).
