Unions have been asking to bargain since March, and now the @fordnation government is taking an extended vacation until the end of October.
They'll be back to work for only a few weeks before taking their winter holidays.
Where does that leave #ONTed come the 2026/2027 year?
The fact that the Epstein class was revealed to have killed, raped, and EATEN children and babies and it DIDN'T stop the world dead in it's tracks and create a sense of urgency to remove the current administration is beyond me.
Hey @CodyRhodes 👋
You're my four-year-old's favorite wrestler, so it was only right to get him his own Winged Eagle. He's walking around like a world champion, and this right here is his best Cody pose. 🦅
Thanks for being such a great role model.
Ontario families fundraise for basic school supplies while Doug Ford's Education Minister reportedly flies to England on taxpayer dollars. We pay $360K+ for "supervisors," yet kids read screenshots instead of books. Ever heard of Zoom? Priorities matter. #onted
Michaela Community School was an incredible experience to witness first hand. The demonstration between the relationship of the students and teachers showed an incredible level of respect, responsibility and discipline.
Thank you to the headteacher, Katharine Birbalsingh for having us.

#ONStorm#ONwx 🔔 Early Preview: Snowstorm Potential This Weekend
We’re starting to keep a very close eye on a potentially high impact winter storm that could affect parts of Southern Ontario late this weekend into early next week. If current trends hold, this system has the potential to bring significant snowfall, hazardous travel and possible disruptions from Sunday into Monday.
This storm is expected to impact a massive portion of the United States, stretching from Texas through the Appalachians and into the US Northeast. Devastating ice storm is possible to the south, while areas further north could see blizzard conditions. Some of the latest guidance now suggests that the northern edge of this system could clip into parts of Southern Ontario.
If that happens, areas furthest south and east including the Golden Horseshoe and into Eastern Ontario would have the highest chance of seeing impactful snowfall, potentially exceeding 20 cm in some locations. There is also a signal for lake enhancement west of Lake Ontario which could locally boost totals through portions of the GTA.
Now for the important reality check…
This system is still 4 to 5 days away, which means there is plenty of uncertainty left. Earlier model runs kept this storm well to our south with little to no impact locally. More recent runs have shifted the track northward, which is why it’s now on our radar. However, being right on the edge means it would not take much for the track to shift back south again.
Models have also been notoriously unreliable this winter, something we saw first hand just last week with the surprise last minute uptick in snowfall from Thursday’s storm. Because of that, we’re being cautious about locking into any one solution too early.
At this point, the takeaway is awareness, not panic. There is enough potential here that it’s worth mentioning so you have time to plan ahead, especially if you have critical travel planned for Sunday or Monday. Conditions could end up being hazardous, or we could end up with a near miss that only clips the region.
Model agreement is still lacking. The European and Canadian models are currently further north, which would support a more widespread snowstorm across Southern Ontario. Meanwhile, the American model keeps the heavier snow more confined to the Golden Horseshoe and Eastern Ontario with lower totals elsewhere. These differences will be key to watch over the next couple of days.
For now, don’t get too locked in on numbers or exact timing. It is way too early for location specific snowfall forecasts. We should start to see better consistency by late Thursday or Friday, and that’s when we’ll be able to get more detailed.
No need to panic, just be prepared and stay tuned 🤗

Inclement Weather: All schools are closed today due to weather conditions.
Bus transportation, child care centres, and before and after school programs located in schools are also cancelled.
No, President Trump. Illegally canceling $2 billion in funding to deal with the mental health, addiction and opioid crises will not Make America Healthy Again.
It will lead to more illnesses, more overdoses and more deaths.
This blatantly unconstitutional act must be rescinded.
