The SNP say there's no such party as Scottish Labour. They're right of course. It's just Labour. They should go further and say there's no such station as BBC Scotland. It's just the BBC. We don't call it 'Scottish IKEA' or 'Netflix Scotland'.

BBC BritNat had an item on party accounts tonight. Andrew Kerr mentioned Peter Murrell SIX times and gave an update on SNP membership & finances. A cursory mention of the *English* Greens, Tories & Reform followed. Scottish Labour? Ignored. Members? No idea. Finances? Same.

Worth remembering that BBC Scotland ran a full scale campaign aimed at undermining the legitimacy of the SNP leadership contest after Nicola Sturgeon resigned. They won't do this with Labour despite the Monica Lennon stitch up. No chance.

In 2023 BBC Scotland broadcast a full SNP leadership debate after Nicola Sturgeon resigned and loaded the audience with BritNat plants to ask questions and applaud. We look forward to the Scottish Labour leadership equivalent.

During the SNP leadership election to replace Nicola Sturgeon the BBC headlined attacks on the party from Paul Hutcheon because the media was not allowed to attend hustings events. We assume Hutcheon will be demanding full media access to Scottish Labour leadership hustings.

Michael Marra is already acting like he's the new branch manager. He knows the stitch up has worked. Members didn't want the Pound Shop Anas Sarwar but they're getting him anyway. What that will mean for Labour in Scotland in the long run remains to be seen. Members may throw in the towel.
