Everyone wants to be in the fashion space but refuse to do the work within themselves to utilize what’s around them to make it much more than just a look snatched off a runway. It’s no different than those that buy because of a label. Everyone has their hands in what seems to be an empty pot.
@saintdutchess As she promised to do in her final scene I’m sure we are in for a treat but I hadn’t heard she was coming back now I’m even more excited
@echolaliass I watched without my prescription glasses on and even I could see how stupid she was to tell him that. She was playing games in a world that was ultimately going to ruin her.
Now that the show is over. This is still my favourite Rue Bennett scene. Rue trying to cheer her sister and mother up after coming home from the hospital after her first overdose, singing fly me to the moon.
They should’ve been apart of this final season especially with the way it ended idc. Rue’s family was an integral part of her life and that includes her addiction so to leave them out all the way til the end was not a smart move on anyone’s part.

Her mom literally read the bible right in front of us but you couldn’t think to throw in a funeral scene between Ali and Leslie? Have them run some dialogue to go over their fondest moments of Rue, nothing???? Chile put me in the writers room.
I do have an issue with this scene of Rues “second” family being the ones to mourn the loss of Rue with Ali. To use her mother as her final moments, have Ali speed dial her to let her know she just lost her baby but for us as the audience to not see them all mourn her loss together just isn’t okay.
