Here at WICU our patients enjoyed a falls education group, learning how to stay safe and steady around the home and an exercise program to improve strength and balance as part of falls prevention week.
Here's what we got up to..
Something magical happened today, after a total of 5 months in hospital most of that in ICU, then over to WICU for rehab, she finally got to go home! We wish you all the best in your further recovery with our community teams
Staring today, we have taken the decision to suspend visiting at all hospital sites and Wakefield Intermediate Care Unit.
ℹ️ This does not apply to visiting maternity wards or visiting children who are in hospital.
