@Oldtimers365 Was in an accident in one, when sliding off SR42 sideways and hit a tree on the passenger door. No passenger seat in it at the time and my brother (driving) said hang on.
I was thinking, to what! Walked away from it.
@ric_d3@twisokhou Dude, she threw the elbow, that's not protecting yourself defensively. She could have taken a half step forward and cleared the base path because she didn't have the ball coming to her for another 5-6 seconds.
@GuntherEagleman The church is in Bexley, the trash in the video is coming from Columbus. Bexley is 85% White, the problem is not isolated to Bexley, it's a Columbus problem. It's also why Easton Mall restricts teens after a certain time without parents because of the issues caused by them.
@ThrillaRilla369 It was in case a strike hit the house and the copper pipes act as a conduit to the cast iron tub. I still don't shower in the middle of a thunder storm, hard habit to break.
@Bhess@614clinton My favorite:
Old Japanese gentlemen asked the Marine guard at Naval Base Pearl Harbor where the USS Arizona was?
The Marine responded with
"Right where you bastards left her in '41"
@Rob_1_42728@JayJosephVet I made E5 in 1978 and I got out in Dec, 1984. I was one of 4 Operations Watch Supervisor at each base I was stationed at over ~5 years. I just never took the test for E6 so I could stay an E5. There was only about $100 a month difference in pay so it was for the money.
@MRTs_Haircut@JayJosephVet We had 100% promotion rate from E5 to E6, in the 3 years that I was eligible to take the test, i never showed up for it. Had all of the points necessary and for E6 in the Navy, there was no board, it was just take the test, wait for your score.
@ArbitrageAndy1 What do you mean, they were 18-20 year olds in 1944.
My Dad was 24 in Aug, 1942 when his ship took 85 hits from 3", 5" and 8" naval shells and 2 torpedoes, all in 15 minutes.
@TeeStarr_B1@CinemaShogun Once you have a gun in your hand, expect someone else to defend themselves or the people around him. Mr Chow did nothing wrong, the kid knew better, his parents knew better, you're defending a losing argument because you can't see pass your bias.
