On Sunday night, politicians, community leaders and victims’ families gathered together for a community dinner to honour and remember the victims of the April 26, 2025 Lapu Lapu tragedy in Vancouver. We honoured the memory of those taken from us in this senseless act of violence, and reaffirm our support for victims on the road to recovery. Warren Dean Flandez and the Good Noise Gospel Choir also gave a moving performance in memory of the victims, survivors and their families.
Spent a few great days in the Okanagan with Harwinder Sandhu. Whether it’s new housing, strengthening our healthcare system, or supporting local manufacturing jobs, Harwinder is a champion for the people of Vernon-Lumby and the entire region.
