February 2024 talk, Madrid MediaLab, on the Cosmopolitical Gesture. [link to lecture in comments.]
'Keller poses pivotal questions about the nature of emerging intelligences, their potential sentience, and their transformative impact on human existence.
A central theme of his work deals with developing communication systems with AI that transcends the limitations of language through multi-modal 'reality capture' systems. He scrutinises the neurophysiological role of life-world gestures in human cognitive evolution, suggesting it as a blueprint for AI development. He will also introduce the concept of 'microworlds' and 'pocket universes' - specialised spaces for the growth and interaction of emerging AI.'
This talk took place at Medialab Matadero's OpenLAB#03 SYNTHETIC MINDS, on February 9 and 10, 2024 in the auditorium of Casa del Lector in Madrid.
