Tonight SM Armes presented 2 crew members with certificates , 20 years’ service for Crew Manager Turnbull and 10 years for myself FF Pugh with Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service. 🚒

It’s been an amazing experience with a great team.

The Machynlleth crew, along with several other MAWW crews, has been extremely busy over the last few weeks in responding to large grass fires.

The support we have received from local farmers and members of the community has been invaluable, thank you!

Today marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Thousands of personnel displayed enormous heroism to storm the beaches of Normandy and help turn the tide of the Second World War.

It is thanks to them we enjoy peace and freedom today.

Tonight we welcomed our latest recruit Ff Aidan Roberts to Machynlleth Fire & Rescue Station. Aidan is the son of Ff David Roberts, who is also serving at MO2 and has done for many years.

We look forward to working with you and your father for many more years to come!
