When a majority chooses independence, not only through governance but also as an identity greater than the one once assigned to them by others, they become it.
But they are not there yet.
If asked, the Arab identity is still strong among most North Africans.

As long as Egyptians hold on to that, they remain Arabs.

The other indicator is to ask the people.
A majority of the population in these countries answers “yes” in the surveys when asked if they are Arab or not.

There are Indigenous people left, but they were colonized, overtaken, and blended into a minority by the newcomers.

There are minorities that have a mixed identity, but few without a partly Arab identity.

@deezeerhh @xagreat There was a Muslim population in the Norman kingdoms until the Spaniards began their expulsions. The Normen conquered Sicily from the Muslims in the 1080s and ruled a Greek–Arab–Latin kingdom for more than a hundred years, followed by Germanic and Frankish rulers.

Ukraine doesn’t mind civil destruction in Russia, neither will the EU and NATO if given a reason to engage in the demolitions.

Så aktivitet pågår och kommer fortsätta.

Frågan är om det löses med en deal eller våld, men sundet kommer öppnas.
Jag tror fortsatt utan våld.

@hallen_a Han sa även att USA har full kontroll över sundet. Om sundet var öppet så skulle Trump säga att det var för att han ville ha det så.
Vad som helst för att ta ära och lägga ansvar för misslyckanden på andra.
Trump kommer aldrig medge att något negativt är på grund av honom.

Antingen vinner han och får bestämma eller så krigar han för att få som han vill.

Trump kommer inte vika sig och öppnar han sundet har Iran förlorat sin enda möjlighet till någon sorts påtryckning i en framtida förhandling.

Det är vad Iran spelar på.
Att Trump viker sig.
Vilket han inte gör.

@hallen_a Jag tror själv att man når en överenskommelse, just på grund av att Iran vill ha en.
All eskalering trycker konflikten närmare en slutgiltig lösning, och det finns ingen annan än att alla gemensamt ser till att Iran lägger sig, så som alla andra konflikter i trakten slutat.

@hallen_a Vita huset förlorar inget utom ryktet, ett rykte de inte sätter något värde i.
Iran vinner på att vänta om de får något ur det som de inte skulle få annars.
Får de inget alls, utan får enbart ta förluster mot att även andra ska lida, är stängningen kontraproduktiv strategiskt.
