@NASCAR So sad to learn of the passing of Kyle Busch. You were a role model to many, and @bradenfhjourney was so excited to see you at Michigan in 2024.
Prayers go out to the Busch family.
They must not have. No one has been arrested. I thought people that commit crimes to that magnitude went to prison. Either they did not commit said crime or there is a double standard.
They don’t seem to be suing you for defamation either, so either they did the crime or just love the attention.
@danawhite@ufc@paramountplus Thank you for moving the main fights an hour earlier too. I moved from mountain time zone to eastern time zone about two years ago. It’s been brutal.
It does well in great conditions. I live in Northern Michigan and doesn’t work well with road grime. I still love driving my Model 3 performance, and FSD really is amazing. My major problems with FSD are:
The cameras and sensors stop seeing before I do in crappy weather. Road grime builds up and the car tells me how blind it is. Also steady rain affects its ability.
Sun glare is a problem. FSD told me to take over because it could not see. To be fair, I could barely see with sun glasses.
The front camera seems to fog up and I have to take it apart to clean the windshield in front of it. It’s a pain. Please let me know if there is an easier way to do this.
The speed limits are wrong on a lot of the roads up here. I know this is really a map issue but FSD follows that. A lot of roads are 55 but the map says 25. Thanks for making it easy to switch modes. Sometimes mad max setting goes the speed limit when that happens.
I still love driving the car, and am still amazed that the car can drive me most of the time.
My son just wrote you a letter and mailed it today. He would like to know why insurance doesn’t cover secondary prosthetic legs for him. He is 8 years old and would love to ask the question himself. He isn’t afraid and would love a conversation. That’s him at the capitol building in Denver, telling his story and why a secondary prosthesis is medically necessary.
@CollinRugg They died on Thursday? She was able to do an interview on Sunday? Something isn’t right with this whole situation. Not accusing anyone of anything. Just seems off.
I have a model 3 performance. I live in northern Michigan. We have feet of snow currently. The Thanksgiving storm started as drizzle and ice.
I tested out driving my Tesla with factory tires vs my wife’s Mazda CX-5 with highly recommended tires for the driving conditions up here (had them on last winter). The two vehicles were virtually the same which means minimal slippage when slowing to a stop.
The one thing I will say is FSD does go down with a longer drive. So does the Mazda’s radar system as well. I drove from Traverse City to Grand Rapids and 99% of the way on FSD. On the way back, FSD definitely needed some cleaning, but it still did about 40% of the drive for me.
The low profile might prevent me from driving the model 3 performance since lake effect snow is no joke. Time to look into getting a model X.
@WhiteHouse please make the states make personal finance a requirement to graduate high school.
Also, please make an American government class a requirement as well. People really should know the basics of these two subjects.
Might want to delete this post. Super dumb statement.
A 50 year loan program will push property values to be more unaffordable. Meaning, people will still take a loan for a house they can barely afford. Much like the 30 year loan program did when it was introduced. It wasn’t instantaneous, but it happens over a period of time.
Current home/land owners will benefit from a 50 yr loan program. Renting gives you no chance to make money. You are essentially free from the burden of the maintenance and taxes, except we all know that is worked into the price of the rental.
People will still take loans they can barely afford. Nothing will change except the price for the property will go up.
Making housing more affordable for working families the goal? Step 1, abolish property taxes on primary residence. Step 2, lower borrowing rates.
Lowering both of those will also increase property value because people base what they can afford on a monthly payment and not an overall loan value.
Sorry to tell you, but most Americans have no idea how the government works. Lots of people even send memes to me and say how the republicans control the government.
You should follow this and nuke the filibuster. Take the control that a lot of Americans think that you already have. Do it now.
Instead of “refusing your salary” how about head to the air traffic control towers and give those controllers, from your state, cash out of your pocket? Do it with cameras following you and see if your colleagues will do the same.
I am sure some of those controllers will refuse, and I am sure it won’t equal their paycheck, but it would be better than all the noise that goes on in Washington. All congressional members do is talk.
I appreciate your words sometimes, but words don’t pay bills or provide substance. Another grand idea is to abolish income tax once and for all and refund with holdings to all Americans. That would be a mighty fine Christmas present.
Thank you!
@elonmusk please run a poll since you have a huge following. Should the republicans nuke the filibuster. Possible answers should be; yes, no, or I have no idea how the American government works.
Thank you!
I find it interesting that there is zero talk of single subject spending bills during this shutdown. Even single subject CR’s for the essential services like military and air traffic controllers, just to name a few that won’t be getting paid.
@SenateGOP@SenateDems
@bennyjohnson There is no way his security team or local police did not see that guy on the roof. Just like Secret Service in Butler. Incompetence or negligence?
