In a move critics are slamming as a shameless cover-up, the fascist authoritarian Trump regime is hellbent on burying any meaningful accountability for a catastrophic U.S. "double-tap" Tomahawk cruise missile strike that slaughtered at least 175 people — mostly schoolchildren — at the Shajareh Tayyebeh Elementary School in Minab, Iran, on the very first day of Operation Epic Fury.

A former senior Pentagon official blew the whistle, warning that the Pentagon under sycophantic Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is unlikely to release the findings of its internal investigation into the horror, calling the process a predictable whitewash. One Democratic lawmaker labeled it "one of the most horrific episodes" of what she called Trump's "illegal war" on Iran.
