Asaph made an album about something he knows best: the city of Bulawayo.

#Kingsvilla isn't a love letter to Byo, it's a love story starring one of the city's main protagonist and its a masterclass in storytelling.

New #Deciphad episode out now!

Here’s to the people making art and things just to make art and things.

Here’s to being fun and delightful again; even if it’s stupid art and things.

We’d lost that.

An open call was sent out to artists and producers in the city to come and participate in the development workshop. It was an exchange of knowledge and ideas for those that are serious about growing themselves and the community.

I’m going through the content we have from @kwelainitiative 5 day workshop, 3 day recording camp and album showcase 🤯🤯🤯 nah we did the most and this shall be remembered as when Hip Hop came together for growth and development. I know fosho some of the artists that went through this program will have a greater impact and will count Kwela as a platform that played a part in their journey

[A S A P H @AsaphAfrika]

Super proud of all the artists that contributed to this project and the team that curated the whole Kwela Program from the Workshop in January to the recording camp to the artist showcase and now the album is here 🙏🏾

Make sure you listen and enjoy what these incredible talents put together 🇿🇼
