DIGITAL ID: The Pledges are arriving!
Over the last few days, Together supporters across the UK have been printing, signing and posting their Pledges Against Digital ID to Andy Burnham.
These are just a few of the new messages we’ve received from people who have taken action.
Every Pledge sends the same clear message:
Scrap Digital ID!
A public commitment is powerful because it shows that opposition is not just a private concern - thousands of ordinary people are prepared to stand together.
A similar pledge helped defeat Tony Blair's ID cards in the 2000s - and was signed over 1 million times.

DuckDuckGo has added built-in YouTube ad blocking to its browser
“Tired of ads interrupting your videos? Us, too,”
The new feature blocks most ads that play before and during YouTube videos while keeping the normal YouTube experience, including watch history and playlists. It works on the YouTube website, not the YouTube app.
The feature is already enabled by default on iPhone, Windows, and Mac. Android users can turn it on manually for now, with automatic rollout coming soon.
The company also explained that it uses “community-driven filter lists sourced from uBlock Origin” alongside its own compatibility rules.
I just wanna be able to afford food again man, not have my source of income and escapism from the real world be ruined by a government who couldn’t give less of a shit about us if they tried
