@jimmmy I have to prompt pretty hard for it to not generate indentation. Experimenting with other formats, but GPT clearly had seen so much JSON that it has a low error rate. Describing a new language isn’t necessarily worth the tokens you’d save… you kinda need it already trained.
JSON has to be one of the least token-efficient ways to generate structured AI responses. GPT insists on indenting and every space is a token! YAML is ok, but haven't found anything better than CSV so far.
@AristaNetworks gets it. Telemetry is a phenomenally powerful tool but I don't want to have to roll my own tool to consume it. CloudVision leverages the power of real-time telemetry to provide meaningful insights into the operational state of your network. #NFD30
Blown away at the intuitiveness and usefulness of this platform:
It's hard to explain, but in the demo we got here so easily!
1. Search for device IP
2. See "heat map" of busy traffic
3. See busiest flows
4. Attached image shows up.
Incredible
@nfd30
Thanks to all the incredible engineers and designers on the team who conceived, implemented, tested, and shipped each these features. And, if you want to work with a team that cares immensely about quality, we're hiring! https://t.co/UePYTUVp6t
@mrtugs @0UR080R05 Definitely—the system needs to adapt to the user, not the other way around. Sometimes a blob of CLI is the most intuitive way to configure a network. But anything requiring consistency across devices really benefits from a high-level model to click through/program against
@0UR080R05 I’d agree! A few things we’ve tried to do to keep CloudVision studios from falling in this trap: 1) don’t be rigid—let users completely customize workflows, 2) use a network-wide model so users don’t repeat themselves, 3) high quality APIs (same APIs that power the UI)
@conorsen I wonder what impact sending DIY tests to every household in America has on these numbers. No need to get tested externally (and contribute to national case count) if you can find out in the comfort of your home.
Any React devs out there want to help me build a @SiteofRefuge for Ukrainian refugees? It’s a small, great team looking for help on a time-critical project!
