We are launching a new Muslim Cancer Support Group open to anybody who is Muslim, as well as family members and friends. The brothers’ support group takes place on 7th November from 3-4:30pm, the sisters’ support group is taking place on 21st November from 3-4:30pm 🧡
Our first Anal Cancer support group is taking place on Tuesday June 24 from 1:30-2:30pm
The group is an opportunity to meet others, discuss treatment & hear about ways of coping. Sessions are facilitated by a Maggie’s Cancer Support Specialist and nurses from @TheChristieNHS 🧡
We celebrated World Bee Day in style at Manchester @Marriott Hotel Piccadilly Honey Glow spa event. 🐝✨
As well as delicious honey-themed canapes, guests were invited to try Tribe517’s hand-blended skincare which is enriched with raw honey, sourced from their very own well-looked after hives. Tribe founder Claire shared more about the benefits of inclusive skincare before the team gave a live demo of some of the Tribe treatments available here.
£2 from every ticket purchased for the event was donated to @maggiesmanc and Tribe has worked with the spa team to provide oncology training, meaning people living with cancer or receiving ongoing care can still come and enjoy the range of Tribe treatments available. ❤️
We then had a moment of mindfulness before receiving a pot of the Hand & Body Hero to try for ourselves at home.
Keep an eye out for more spa events like this one, coming soon to Manchester Marriott Hotel Piccadilly. 🔍
