As I’ve said from the start: DHS fabricated pretextual “fraud” charges in retaliation for my pro-Palestine speech. They knew they had no leg to stand on but proceeded anyway. On year after my arrest, DHS never presented any evidence of unlawful conduct.
Incredible—As DHS now says they'll deport Mahmoud Khalil, new docs show the State Department itself knew how weak the case was to take him.
They themselves admitted he'd likely challenge it & that courts would "scrutinize the basis" for the Trump-Vance-Rubio admin to deport him:
No Land to Stand On debuted on the NYT bestseller list.
Thanks to every reader, and to all who made this book possible.
Abolish ICE. F*ck Columbia. And free Palestine!
Columbia University students who doxed Mahmoud Khalil and other pro-Palestinian activists on campus remained enrolled in the school despite their actions.

Taken by ICE last year for protesting Israel, Khalil speaks on how his fight is bigger than whether he gets to stay in this country. https://t.co/jzbtY3tw11
The Trump administration, Columbia Trustees, & the pro-Israel establishment tried to silence me and make an example of me to chill pro-Palestine speech in this country. They failed.
I'm glad my book is out now to expose what they did, and what they're still doing to others.

Today, Israel’s Central Elections Committee disqualified all the parties representing the Arab minority in the Knesset, including our list.
This is democracy for Jews only.
We will fight for our right to political representation.
We will fight for our voices to be heard.
And we will not be silenced.
I was banned from teaching and declared persona non-grata by Cornell police. Prohibited from being on campus and was told that if I want to see a doctor, I must seek permission first. My crime? Being anti-genocide. Yet if you do this, you write a letter and you’re free to roam.

Columbia University not only failed in its obligation to keep its students safe, it actively betrayed Mahmoud, leaving him vulnerable to the whims of an administration that weaponized the very same Palestinian exception to target immigrants.
I am, as always, proud of my friend for taking the hard road and fighting for justice.
Today, I am filing a lawsuit against Columbia University and SIPA Dean Keren Yarhi-Milo for their gross and systemic discrimination against Palestinian students at Columbia. I am joined in this action by my friends at the Palestine Working Group.
Columbia laid the groundwork for my targeting by the Trump administration through its deliberate indifference and discrimination aimed at intimidating Palestinian students. For over two years, we pleaded with Columbia. Columbia did not care. Our safety and our wellbeing did not serve the ideological project its Board of Trustees was protecting, so they traded us away.
We are suing because no student should ever have to go through the hell Columbia put us through all these years.
I will continue to seek accountability for all the wrongs that were done to me and my peers. Next, I will turn to the hateful individuals at Columbia who were also responsible for what we endured. Stay tuned.

Reminder that Kraft ran this play before. In April 2024 he pulled his funding from Columbia until "corrective action" was taken against the student protests.
Columbia, of course, caved to the threat, suspending or expelling more than 100 students since.

@Columbia funded AIPAC's charity arm, the ADL, and other Zionist hate groups that worked to intimidate, threaten, and target people speaking out for Palestinian rights, including members of its own community. Apparently, wasting hundreds of millions of dollars on disgraceful settlements and political capitulation wasn't enough.
Every dollar spent funding these organizations is a dollar stolen from financial aid, scholarships, and students who actually need it. Columbia should be investing in its students, not bankrolling organizations that intimidate them.
🚨 NEW INVESTIGATION: As Columbia University ramped up its crackdown on pro-Palestine protesters over the past three years, the Ivy League institution was paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to pro-Israel groups, according to a review of tax filings. Recipients of the cash included AIPAC's charity arm, the Israel on Campus Coalition, and others.
👉 Though the university gave in smaller amounts to pro-Israel groups before October 7, 2023, the spending ramped up in that fiscal year as the genocide in Gaza unfolded and students at Columbia led the way in a national campus protest movement against it.
👉 In the fiscal year ending in June 2024, Columbia paid $100,000 to the Israel on Campus Coalition and another $75,000 to AIPAC affiliate American Israel Education Foundation.
In the same period, the Columbia administration summarily suspended the pro-Palestine student groups Jewish Voice for Peace and Students for Justice in Palestine, quashed the encampments in solidarity with Gaza, and called on the NYPD to arrest pro-Palestine protesters on campus on two separate occasions.
👉 Over the past decade, Columbia has paid AIPAC’s charity arm $250,000, with another $75,000 payment in the fiscal year ending in June 2023 and a $100,000 payment in the one ending in June 2017.
👉 In the fiscal year ending in June 2025, Columbia paid $7,200 to the Anti-Defamation League for “program services.” In the same period, the ADL welcomed the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a lead Columbia protest negotiator, by federal immigration officials.
