THE outcome of the Ol Kalou by-election is completely irrelevant and insignificant to the 2027 elections. It’s a complete NOTHINGBURGER. Let’s not make a mountain out of a molehill. The 2027 elections will not be decided in Mount Kenya. Take this to the nearest bank.
PEOPLE like @rigathi and his ilk have plunged African states into fragility, chaos, and state collapse. He’s the stuff of which tribal warlords are made. He’s not above the law. His toxic and incendiary utterances are actionable in courts of law. He shouldn’t go scot-free.
Our focus as the Panel on Compensation for Victims of Protests and Riots is relief for the victims and their families and loved ones, justice, and national healing. I call upon the nation to support our reform efforts to forge a noble culture of human rights and social justice.
TODAY, I appeared on #SemaNaSpox, the weekly programme hosted by the Government Spokesperson @MwauraIsaac1 to discuss transitional justice and the work of the Panel of Experts on Compensation of Victims of Human Rights Violations. Thanks to all the Gen Z who turned up to exchange views with us @fokango@compensationke@KBCChannel1
WHY do we have tuk tuks on major roads and highways, even in Nairobi? We shouldn’t. These pathetic contraptions aren’t roadworthy. They obstruct traffic, are completely unsightly, and degrade our capital city. Please remove them from our major roads in cities and towns.
It’s tragic Cecil Ouma, a young man attending a youth empowerment event, was allegedly shot dead by a security officer attached to Youth Affairs PS Fikirini Jacobs. This tragedy must be investigated thoroughly and fully so that everyone responsible faces the full force of the law. There must be no place in our society for such a calamity.
WHY are boda boda riding against traffic EVERYWHERE in Nairobi? Why? Don’t we have traffic police in this country? We cannot NORMALIZE such illegal, abnormal, and UNCIVILIZED conduct and still call ourselves a world class city. We CANNOT! Those responsible must act. NOW @IG_NPS@DCI_Kenya@ODPP_KE@AGOfficeKenya
