Yesterday, the Minister for Students' Affairs, representing the Guild President, participated in a critical MAK-RIF 5 Dissemination Workshop at the School of Business conference hall hosted by researchers from COBAMS and CHUSS, in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.

The session explored vital research findings on "Substance and Alcohol Use, Dating Violence, and Sexually Transmitted Infections among Makerere University Students". The 92nd Guild Government remains fiercely committed to utilizing this research to shape policies that protect, support, and empower the student fraternity.

Today, the 92nd Students’ leadership held a highly productive engagement with Mr. Yasin Katwere, Managing Director of Success Motors Uganda, to map out a landmark partnership centered on student mobility, youth empowerment, and socio-economic development.

In our discussions, we invited Success Motors Uganda to come on board as the premier sponsor of our Guild team. We further explored the creation of student-tailored vehicle purchase packages backed by flexible financing arrangements to make transit and asset ownership accessible for young people.
