@perks_sarah@Diabetescouk Everyday is a learning curve for diabetics. I have been diabetic since I was young, I am 26 years old & I learn new things everyday. Keep in mind, Iโm not on a pump either. I gave it up.
@perks_sarah@Masty78@Diabetescouk I got switched from tresiba to levemir when I was pregnant, lost the baby, they finally just switched me back, what a difference!
@Masty78@perks_sarah@Diabetescouk I agree with you there! I had to adjust insulin for about a week, once I got to my comfort zone, I started focusing on low numbers. With that being said, I had to make a big change..not eating the whole kitchen when Iโm low!
@perks_sarah@Diabetescouk Donโt eat after a certain time, I take my insulin with dinner, including my long lasting insulin, & I donโt snack unless I have too, only when blood sugars are low.
@laurenfriel You got this Lauren! I am terrified of needles. I have recently started taking insulin with every meal, every time Iโm high, & every single night before bed, I e had high blood sugars for a while, so my blood sugars being regulated has taken a strain on my body. โ๏ธstep at a time
