Quantum leap in Capex investments: From 2013-14 to 2023-24 Central Govt Capex has grown 5.9x or 592%. It has more than doubled from 10% to 21.3% (% of total central government expenditure) and doubled from 1.5% to 3.3% (% of GDP). This along with easing compliance burden and regulatory reforms ( GST, RERA & IBC) will put us on long term sustained growth. Bank balance sheets are in excellent health. With revival of private sector Capex we should accelerate our growth to even greater heights.

Directorate of Rural Sanitation has introduced a novel initiative of 'Swachhata Bulletin' to monitor and share daily updates, activities by districts in the spirit of Jan-Bhagidari. Community members are encouraged to share feedback and contribute in building Swachh & Swasth J&K.

Door to door collection of waste has been initiated in all the Panchayats, segregation sheds have been established and a financial model has been developed to ensure sustainability of the waste collection mechanism, thereby converting waste to wealth.
