As we stand on the eve of Manjari Foundation’s 11th Foundation Day, we look back at a decade that bears witness to the courage and commitment of women’s power.
Over these 10 years, rural women—through their unwavering determination—have not only challenged societal mindsets but have also scripted a new chapter in empowerment.
Manjari Foundation salutes the soaring spirit of rural women and dedicates this video to their strength, resilience, and unbreakable will.

“True sustainability is achieved when a village stops buying its future from the outside and starts cultivating it right from their own soil.”✨
In partnership with @Care_Today_Fund , under our collaborative project, 5 Vermicompost Units (each consisting of two vermi beds) have been successfully established. While arranging sufficient cow dung initially posed a challenge, resourcefulness quickly took over. By linking the unit managers with 17 other local farmers for a steady supply of cow dung, we created a collaborative raw-material network that has kept the beds functioning seamlessly.
With the first production cycle now successfully completed, these units are transforming organic
waste into wealth, boosting local incomes, and driving agricultural resilience: 🚜🌱
● Continuous and Sustainable Production: The first harvest is complete, and preparation for the second cycle is already underway. Taking advantage of the current post-harvest season, farmers are easily collecting dung from open grazing fields, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of raw materials.
● Robust Market Integration: To facilitate timely sales and strengthen the local ecosystem, these vermicompost producers have been directly linked with Machan farmers for field application, as well as two Bio-Resource Centres (BRCs) and two Agri Input Kiosks for broader marketing.
● Direct Income Generation: This circular intervention has already generated ₹9,100 through initial sales, turning a simple agricultural byproduct into a steady, lucrative
source of income for tribal families.
By linking local cattle owners, compost producers, and Machan farmers, this intervention has created a closed-loop, self-sustaining village economy that no longer relies on external chemical fertilizers.

A new journey towards digital empowerment has started in Jhabua district, Madhya Pradesh under the Digital Sakhi Project implemented by Manjari Foundation and supported by @LnTFinance.
As part of the project, a 3-day residential training program was organized at KVK Jhabua (M.P.) for the newly selected Digital Sakhis of Petlawad Block. A total of 39 Digital Sakhis participated in the training, where they received project orientation, understood their roles and responsibilities, and strengthened their digital skills for effective implementation of project activities at the village level.
Through this initiative, Digital Sakhis will work as local digital champions, helping communities access information, services, and opportunities through technology. 💻🌾

🌸 A Day of Learning, Connection, and Inspiration 🌸
@manjari_org was delighted to welcome Genpact Global CSR Leader, Rachna, to our Dangiyawas Textile Centre in Jodhpur during her recent visit.
More than a project review, the visit was a meaningful opportunity for dialogue, shared learning, and celebrating the strength of women-led livelihoods.
Rachna spent time with our women artisans, listened to their journeys, witnessed their skills firsthand, and experienced the dedication, creativity, and resilience behind every handcrafted product.
The Genpact team interacted with our G-Sakhi Didis and reviewed the progress of the ongoing initiative, discussing its impact, future opportunities, and pathways for sustainable growth. These conversations reaffirmed the power of collaboration in creating lasting change for rural women and their communities.
The team also explored our textile collections and handcrafted products, appreciating the remarkable artistry of our artisans and supporting them through direct purchases.
We are deeply grateful to @Genpact for its continued partnership, encouragement, and commitment to strengthening women's livelihoods. Together, we are enabling opportunities, nurturing confidence, and building a more inclusive and sustainable future.

This week, @manjari_org family grew a little bigger, a little stronger, and a lot more inspired. We welcomed our newest team members from various locations and projects for a two-day orientation programme, a true celebration of new beginnings, shared visions, and collective purpose.
The journey kicked off not with formal presentations, but with open conversations. As our new colleagues shared their backgrounds and hopes for the future. Over the two days, our leaders and team members paved the way forward.
🌱We anchored everyone in Manjari’s journey, mission, and the workplace culture that binds us together.
🌱Demystified our HRMS software and financial disciplines, ensuring our new team members have the solid operational backing they need to succeed.
🌱Led a deeply engaging, thought-provoking dialogue on gender equality and inclusion, reminding us all that creating equitable spaces starts from within.
On day two, the team traveled to the field to deeply understand the communities we serve. Visiting the Gender Resource Centre (GRC) in Sarmathura, the Pipret Federation, the Bijoli Dairy Unit, and the Mustard Processing Unit wasn't just an exposure visit, it was a firsthand look at resilience, women's economic empowerment, and sustainable rural livelihoods in action.
Shri Nivrutti Avhad (IAS), CEO of Zila Parishad, Dholpur, Rajasthan, graced our new members with his presence. His motivating words left our team inspired and deeply conscious of the critical role they play in local governance and community development.
We wrapped up these two enriching days with an inspiring address from our Executive Director, Shri Sanjay Sharma. He reminded the new cohort of our ultimate goal: to work with compassion, and to truly become a "Voice of Change" for the communities we partner with.
Welcome to the family, everyone!

True transformation in public education isn't achieved overnight. It requires unwavering consistency, deep community trust, and a relentless pursuit of equity.📖🖋
When we first began our journey to transform government schools in the Dholpur and Jhunjhunu districts, we knew the challenge was vast. We weren't just looking to upgrade physical infrastructure; we were building ecosystems where rural children could access modern amenities, thrive in digitally enabled classrooms, and receive the quality education they rightfully deserve. Today, that journey reached another historic milestone.
We are incredibly humbled and proud to share that @manjari_org has been honored with the Bhamashah Samman (Shiksha Vibhushan and Shiksha Bhushan) for the second consecutive year🏆✨
At the award ceremony in Jaipur, our Executive Director, Sanjay Kumar, and Director, Naresh Kumar Nain, accepted this prestigious recognition on behalf of our team. The awards were presented by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Dr Premchand Bairwa , alongside the Hon’ble Education Minister, Shri Madan Dilawar.
While our leadership team stood on stage to receive the award, this honor also belongs to our field teams, teachers and school administrations and the local community who partnered with us every step of the way, taking ownership of the children’s future.
Winning this accolade for two consecutive years is a powerful validation of our model, but more importantly, it is a reminder of the responsibility we carry.

Every morning at 4:30 AM, before the rest of the world even stirs, hundreds of women across rural Rajasthan are already in their sheds. Together, they greet their cattle, clear the feed, and begin the morning milking in unison.🐄🛖
For generations, this routine was a grueling collective battle for survival. Their relentless hard work yielded mere pennies, and their identities were confined to the periphery of their village economies.
But now, they are no longer just laborers. They are entrepreneurs. They are shareholders.
At @manjari_org , we have always believed that the true custodians of rural prosperity are its women. For the marginalized families we partner with, dairy farming isn't just an allied activity, it is a collective lifeline.
By organizing these women, providing training on livestock management, and establishing fair market linkages, we have witnessed a profound shift in economic resilience across communities.
The extra money earned daily through quality milk production might seem small on a corporate balance sheet, but in the world of these rural women, it means their daughters stay in school. It means a medical emergency doesn't force a family into debt. It means standing tall together with an unshakeable sense of pride and dignity.
By organizing the traditional milk sector, these women built a robust, direct-to-consumer (D2C) pipeline from rural farms to urban households. The result? They bypassed traditional market barriers to create @KatoriFoods , a brand that is their very own.
This #WorldMilkDay🥛✨ we celebrate the millions of small and marginalized women dairy farmers who pour their sweat, love, and resilience into feeding the nation. They are the backbone of rural India, and we are deeply privileged to walk alongside them on their collective journey from survival to sustainability.
