The Embassy representative today visited the three Indian nationals rescued yesterday from MV ROYAD MAMMADOV in the Black Sea. Two are presently accommodated at a hotel, while the third person is undergoing treatment at the County Hospital in Constanța. All three are in stable condition.

The Embassy assured them of all necessary assistance and support for their safe and early departure from Romania. Essential items, including mobile phones, were facilitated through the shipping company’s local agent, while Indian food was arranged through a local Indian restaurant.

The Embassy representative also met with the local police authorities, shipping company’s agent and treating medical doctors to coordinate further assistance. The Embassy remains in close contact with the concerned authorities and continues to extend all necessary support.

Amb @manojifs spoke with the three Indian nationals receiving treatment at Constanța County Hospital. He also spoke with the hospital’s Chief Physician, who confirmed that all three are in good health and receiving necessary care. The Ambassador assured them of all possible assistance and support.

The Embassy of India, Bucharest organised the Viksit Bharat Run on 27 September 2026 at Floreasca Park, Bucharest, bringing together 100+ enthusiastic participants from the Indian community, Friends of India and Romanian friends. 🇮🇳🤝🇷🇴

🎙️ H.E. Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania, addressed the participants and highlighted India’s remarkable development journey and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047 under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

🌱 The Ambassador emphasised the spirit of “Sabka Prayas” and the collective efforts required to build a developed, confident and forward-looking India. 🇮🇳✨

🌏 He also highlighted the timeless Indian philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family”, reflected in the enthusiastic participation of Romanian friends alongside the Indian community. 🤝🌍

🏆 The first three winners of the Run were felicitated with trophies for their performance. 🥇🥈🥉

The event celebrated fitness, healthy living, community participation and India-Romania friendship, followed by light refreshments and an opportunity for participants to interact and connect.

The Embassy of India, Bucharest celebrated the 11th Ayurveda Day with the launch of Volume IV of Ayurveda in Romania, highlighting the growing interest in Ayurveda and its relevance to a healthy and balanced everyday life.

🇮🇳 H.E. Dr. Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, Ambassador of India to Romania, spoke about the importance of Ayurveda in daily life and its timeless approach to health and well-being.

📖 Mr. Andrei Gamulea, President, AMN-Romania, also addressed the gathering and spoke about the significance of the launch of the fourth volume of Ayurveda in Romania.

🤝 The event was also attened by Mr. Vasile Rîmbu, Mayor of Suceava, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Indian community, Romanian friends and well-wishers.

The celebration provided a meaningful platform to promote awareness of Ayurveda and further strengthen India-Romania people-to-people and cultural ties.
