Our new Book Club is out with author @MarcoOnTheBass discussing his new book Sole Salvation. He and I go deep on our love for the @EnglishBeat and @dave_wakeling and how their music changed our lives for the better. The book is great! Enjoy! https://t.co/oWYjwt01YO
Here's a picture from the heyday of @BiggerThomasSka taken at the QE2 in Albany, NY sometime in 1989 or 1990. The look of pure joy on Roger's face-- let alone the height on his leap -- is in stark contrast to the look of concentration and fear on my face!
New book 'Soul Salvation: A Gen X Love Letter To The English Beat' coming next week. Get an early, exclusive look at the preface now: https://t.co/zNl4jlABzJ
Excited to share the mockup for my new book about the @TheEnglishBeat and their Special Beat Service LP out later this summer. The photo was taken by noted music photographer Ebet Roberts at Lincoln Center in NYC in 1980 during the band’s first US tour with The Pretenders.

NYC Ska Live was recorded 33 years ago today at the Cat Club in NYC! It was a big opportunity for us in @biggerthomas and we are proud to have been part of it. #nycska #1990 #ska#catclub#musichistory
The first show @BiggerThomasSka ever played in NYC was opening for the NY Citizens at the Cat Club in October 1988! They don't get the credit they deserve as a great American ska band on par with The Bosstones. Link in profile to read more about them & how they helped us out!
Here's some American ska history! 35 years ago my band @BiggerThomasSka (then known as Panic! & the 1st ska band from the Garden State) played our 1st show at the legendary Court Tavern in New Brunswick, NJ. Read about it & see rare video of the performance. Link in profile!
Before our 1st show as the 1st ska band in New Jersey in 1988, we realized we needed a demo to book more shows & build an audience. We had been together for less than a month when we recorded three songs. This demo changed everything for us! Link in the bio to read the story!
While we had to change our name from Panic! to @biggerthomas pretty early on the 1 thing we kept was our 2 Tone ska inspired logo! We will be cranking up the merch machine and will have our classic T-shirt’s available at our upcoming 35th reunion shows!
