Honoring Black Excellence | Black History Month 2025
ACSA Region 12 proudly celebrates Black History Month by honoring the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black leaders, educators, and trailblazers. This year’s theme, “African Americans and Labor”.
ACSA President Rafael Plascencia shared a heartbreaking story of losing his brother to suicide, reminding superintendents that behind every title, we are human first. His call to action: prioritize mental health in leadership. A standing ovation honored his courage. #acsa
