Eure Aufmerksamkeit hilft!

The Supreme Court has upheld the death sentence against Mojdeh Hashemi Bazargani, a 27-year-old Red Crescent employee detained during the 40-day war and convicted of “espionage” and “waging war against God.” She is currently held in Qazvin Central Prison (Choubindar Prison).
Based on information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Hashemi Bazargani, a resident of Alvand, recently had her death sentence upheld by the Supreme Court.
The Bloody Friday of Zahedan was the bloodiest day of the "Woman, Life, Freedom" uprising. On October 8, 2022, more than a hundred Baloch citizens—from 7-year-old Hasti Narouei to 88-year-old Zolikha Tarzi—were killed at the hands of government forces.
Four years ago today, security forces in Iran unlawfully killed 87 protesters and bystanders from the persecuted Baluchi ethnic minority in Zahedan in what became known as “Bloody Friday” during the 2022 Woman Life Freedom uprising. https://t.co/4yVYhORjkC 1/2
It has been two years since I took up my mandate as Special Rapporteur on Iran. From the start, I have followed the use of the death penalty in Iran closely, and the need for a moratorium pending abolition has never been greater than it is now.
From tomorrow until 10 October, World Day Against the Death Penalty, I will post daily on death penalty cases my mandate has raised with the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
These cases mainly concern people are at risk of execution, often following proceedings that fall far short of international fair-trial standards. They include people arrested in connection with protests, people convicted of drug-related offences, and people sentenced to qisas (retribution in kind).
