Strong engagement at the Westminster Jewish Community Hustings tonight, with thoughtful questions from Jewish residents on local issues.
Thank you to all the five candidates and to our partners @BoardofDeputies@JewishNewsUK. Recording to follow shortly.
Last nights interfaith Seder hosted by Marie van der Zyl.
During these difficult times it’s more important than ever that we come together as friends and neighbors to demonstrate that we stand together against all forms of extreme forces and those who seek to divide ❤️
The @tweetWLS Interfaith Sedar was a vital reminder that division will never win. Following the antisemitic attack in Golders Green, it was deeply meaningful to join people across faiths & backgrounds to reflect on the meaning of Passover - a story of freedom, hope & resilience.
In difficult times, coming together matters more than ever.
Last night we hosted an Interfaith Seder — bringing people of different faiths together in reflection and solidarity.
Grateful for the reminder that unity is still possible. #Interfaith#CommunityImpact
Nobody seriously believes Rachel Reeves shares this man’s views.
She is and always has been a good friend to the Jewish community and supports a close and positive relationship with Israel.
Unlike some others, she refused to have anything to do with Corbyn’s leadership when Labour was poisoned by extremism and anti-Jewish racism.
As last week’s byelection showed, we face real problems with Islamist extremism and an obsession with Israel that fuels antisemitism, particularly on the left.
Suggesting Rachel Reeves somehow supports that won’t help solve it.
My thoughts are first and foremost with the victims of Epstein — justice must be done. These have been difficult days, but Keir’s focus on tackling antisemitism shows real courage and the right values. He deserves the chance to lead with them.
It was an incredible ceremony today and real honour to be invited to the confirmation of the first woman Archbishop of Canterbury @ArchbishopSarah A truly inspirational woman
There is one last hostage still held by Hamas in Gaza: Ran Gvili.
Tonight, we met with Ran’s parents Talik and Itzik and assured them the @BoardofDeputies and British Jews would not stop advocating until their son is returned to them.

My sincerest congratulations to @HolocaustUK on a powerful annual dinner last night. Wonderful to spend time with new Communities Secretary @SteveReedMP, beloved survivors Mala Tribich and Dorit Oliver-Wolff, communal partners like @UJS_PRES@louisdanker and @marievanderzyl.
@BoardofDeputies Our top priority remains the release of the hostages held by Hamas. Thank you to @bringhomenow’s @ShayDickmann for sharing moving testimony about your dear cousin Carmel Gat, killed by Hamas in Gaza, and the urgent need, as we near 600 days in captivity, to #BringThemHomeNow🎗️
Our @BoardofDeputies delegation met Israel’s Leader of the Opposition, @YeshAtidParty’s @yairlapid, to hear about he would look to do things differently if he were in charge. Thanks for the time, Yair!

@gidonsaar@WorldJewishCong@BoardofDeputies Next up we went to the Knesset - Israeli Parliament - to hear from Opposition leaders about their take on the current situation.
With Israel in the news a lot over the last days, including tensions in the UK-Israel bilateral relationship, a @BoardofDeputies delegation has been on the ground trying to narrow gaps and mend bridges, ensuring aid and enhancing trade. We started today at the @IsraelMFA.
