The point is, they are yet to notify the PAYING CUSTOMER OF THE FLIGHT CHANGE. Stop making excuses for nonsense. Imagine coming off a connection flight only to be told youโve missed your flight because the airline felt like leaving a little earlier than expected without proper notification.
