@Champs707007 Wait until you discover that “the Beast” on the game show The Chase got his name because La Bete ( his surname is labbett) in French translates as The Beast
@BowesChay Ukraine from what I can tell are fighting a mostly defensive war on the frontline. The Russian casualties will be higher but if Ukraine are not advancing and Russians die on the battlements then they probably won’t be collecting the dead in the same numbers. Just a hypothesis
One of my favourite #Worcestershire walks is a loop along the river Teme to Bransford and back. It takes about 1:45 from the Powick bridge and offers some nice views of the Malvern Hills for anyone interested.
An opportunistic encounter with some Birch just above the tree line on Pinnacle Hill. The diffused light from the moon illuminating it nicely. A few trial images with the phone convinced me that it was worth the effort. #malvernhills
The mid slopes of the #Malvernhills have been an area that I have spent a good while wondering in recent times. There are some nice angles onto the peaks and I am looking forward to heading back out during the Spring when the sun should be in a more favourable position.
A pleasant afternoon on the #malvernhills . If anyone in the local area is looking to get fit in 2025. Get yourself a car parking permit from the @MalvHillsTrust . Best £52 you’ll spend.
If you'd like to support an artist this Christmas then copies of my book, The Great Wilderness, are still available. I have about 1/4 of the stock remaining and then they are gone for good!
