44 years ago today, 1930s @MSU_Football alum Ed Klewicki was inducted into the National Polish-American Sports Hall of Fame (June 4, 1982). A four-season member of the Detroit @Lions, Klewicki died in East Lansing in 1997.
Sherman Lewis, who won four Super Bowl championships as an assistant coach, died on Friday at 83 years old.
Lewis, an All-American RB at Michigan State and Heisman finalist in 1963, went on to become an NFL assistant for 22 seasons.
