Join us at the @March4LifeUK in London this Saturday 5th September 🪧
Supporters from across the country are coming together to make a strong public witness for life. Our stall will be open beforehand so you can meet the team, grab materials, and then march with us.
Public demonstrations like these matter. They put the truth about abortion in front of ordinary people in a calm and visible way, highlighting that every human life has value.

@ArchdeaconLuke I’ve loved your trip as well, I’ve been comparing notes on Loreto in particular. Turin is exceptionally special. How have you found the heat?
And so we come to the last shrine. It remains my favourite. It’s all about the people, all about their faith, all about their love for one another and for Jesus. A thin place, so thin in fact it’s easy to see Christ in the eyes of all you pass.
Santiago de Compostela today. Smaller than I expected, and honestly surprised at how busy it was with tourists. It’s BIG business, but that seems utterly irrelevant if you spend time in the square watching pilgrims arrive and celebrate their pilgrimage - even going as far as tossing their Priests in the air!
A rather moving and quite beautiful 36 hours in Fatima. I managed to spend a few quiet hours first thing this morning, wandering, praying, thinking. No lines, no crowds. Just me, the early morning light and Our Lady pointing me to Jesus and telling me to pray for peace and unity. A gift of a day.
What they don’t tell you about overland travel… we may have reached Fatima, but our fist call is not the shrine, nor even our hostel… it is, of course, the lavandaria!
Not all of our sunrise starts are beautiful vistas of mountains and planes… sometimes it’s an industrial estate and strong coffee. At €35 for the night I’m not complaining, it has its own beauty. Today we push hard onto Fatima to make up our delay with the puncture. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us.
Yesterday did not go to plan. An absolutely terrifying 15 mins on the side of the road after Dan got a puncture. We got enough air into the tyre to get off the road and into the service station - but a broken valve is beyond our ability to repair. So today is an enforced stop in Guadalajara whilst the tyre is repaired/replaced.
I’ll be perfectly honest. We only came to Zaragoza because it was on the way to Fatima. A handy stop. What a mistake. It’s no way point. It’s a beautiful, profound, and moving place. I’ll be back.
