@JohnTraddington There are some liberal priests and theologians who don't agree with this, and the rest is simply priests who don't want to say it. However the church teaches it, and you can still hear it. Above all a sense of sin is something lost that must be regained, by has never been...
@Emma506131772 Absolutely. The trinity preface is the best definition of the trinity besides the athansius creed. Would you also have multiple collects? I wish we would bring back the second confiteor. It certainly provided a great preperation for communion.
@Emma506131772 That’s how the brievary sets it up. The Ave Regina Coelorum is one of the easiest to learn, I mastered it within a couple of days. It’s a more toned down chant for Lent
Fr. Ripperger: “People will spend HOURS in front of their TV/computer/phone—but if I suggest 15 minutes of spiritual reading a day, EVERY excuse under the sun will come out of their mouths: about how busy they are, they don't have time, they can't get to it, or what have you.”
Every Catholic, no matter their financial situation, should donate at least 10% of their income to the Church and charity.
It all comes from God, so it’s only right to give a portion back.
It’s a scandal how little Catholics donate.
@gonefishin1948 Priests do not need a "sexual identity". Priests are called by Christ, it is a vocation. It should not be sullied by worldly ideologies. We need holy priests not "gay priests", priests who love the faith and serve as "alter Christus", another Christ.
