Paris… A tough one to swallow.
Small mistake cost me. 4th sounds close but feels a million miles away. My family reminded me of the bigger picture and they were right but in that moment, I felt like I had failed.
Feelings still there but what’s important is what you do next…
Tokyo was a challenge 😅. But it was for everyone. I remember having my pommel horse in the garden and training over concrete to make sure I didn’t let the work go to waste.
Lots of pressure but Tokyo holds some amazing memories, even with all the restrictions and challenges
So… Rio 2016. I was on a mission and our goals at the time, were seen as unachievable.
A whirlwind is an understatement, in 2 hours, I was standing there with 2 gold medals to the bronze
I also was so grateful for the unbelievable amount of support throughout this whole cycle
13 years ago, what do you remember from London 2012?
There were doubters, but I made it and went there at 19, with no expectation to get results.
London 2012 was the springboard I needed, it set the tone for every target and every mission that we all chased from that moment on.
I had the opportunity to help out with a presenting role on Blue Peter! This was the first time doing something like this and I absolutely loved it!! Was such good fun on set with the amazing team. Honoured to get my gold #bluepeter badge 😊 @cbbc
