For Tigard, I advocated supporting the Jurisdictional Transfer Committees recommendation on fully funding Hall Blvd and transferring ownership to the City of Tigard.

Last week I was thankful to have a seat at the stakeholder table for the Joint Committee on Transportation Roundtable.

It’s clear as a region we support a new transportation funding mechanism and have committed to working with the legislature to refine what that is.

The City Council will immediately begin steps to search for a new City Manager for our incredible city. Dates and timelines for next steps are to be determined at this point in time.

Yesterday, our City Manager, Steve Rymer informed City Council of his intent to retire.

I want to thank Steve for his tireless service to the Tigard community since 2021 and honor his many accomplishments during his tenure.
