I’ve been telling ya’s for years to put aside your preconceived notions about this platform and start paying attention to these releases.

With the price of virtually every other website building platform going up, and the price of WordPress staying the same ($0) while also getting a much needed facelift and codebase modernization, it will continue to overwhelmingly be the platform large and small businesses choose to run their websites.

That’s not to say there isn’t a place for Webflow, Framer, etc., but as WordPress slowly catches up to high fidelity site building, it’s going to become a harder decision for businesses and agencies to choose those platforms over something free, open source, highly extensible, and with a massive product ecosystem around it.

And these big releases lately are solidifying its inevitable long term success.
