Yesterday, British #Farmers donated 6.6 tonnes of fresh food, which = over 15k meals for Londoners facing #foodpoverty. #CityHarvest CEO, Calcutt: “We were honoured to ensure every donation was safely received + handled with as much care as the time + skill spent producing it."
🚜🌾 I recently met with Ollie, a young farmer from Bromsgrove, whose family business will be devastated by the Government's Family Farm Tax. Ministers need to listen and scrap this catastrophic policy.

@Wyefarm Animals with bluetongue aren’t directly infectious so it’s slightly less severe than FMD. However movement restrictions are in place because it’s a notifiable disease. Fortunately unwell animals can be treated in some cases: pain relief and making sure they are hydrated is key
The first #Bluetongue BTV3 case in 24/25 has been confirmed near Norwich, Norfolk. A 20km Temporary Control Zone has been put in place. Movement restrictions apply. See https://t.co/Ei44zoheI1 for more info: https://t.co/dL7ygfpjct
