@Nagato890 But it's not wrong though? Nobody is complaining, it's just a question on who spams it the most. It is a fact that they spam Bankai, and it's justified by your last sentence. Their shikai is too weak against strong opponents. That's it.
@bandtbvl@Furkancheets The way the question is phrased makes it as post Arranacar arc no? And funny Kubo says that when one of the "new" captains was Kensei....no offense but he didn't seem to be doing much and didn't seem noble...
@CasualLoreVault@leocondra Just curious, because I don't read materials outside of the manga, but how does one compare kido mastery? Using them without chanting? The output? The manga shows Aizen can use high levels without chanting, and there's also Hachigen from the Vizards that creates his own ones.
@ecutruin@usagiiart For sure, though, well for now most AI art is still more easily identifiable because most people are using easier/cheaper methods that still aren't that polished. Though we can see how much the models improve in the upcoming years.
@ecutruin@usagiiart No that never occured to me because the pencil and paper has been right there, ever since I was a toddler. Thanks for sharing the video though, I can see what you mean by the workflow. But I would argue that is more like "photo editing" than "creating something from scratch"
@ecutruin@usagiiart Yes, you can use those art theories and skills to polish up whatever AI generates, but not all AI users do it, because there isn't a need to. The AI just outputs something similar to an artist with those skills, because they are trained on those kind of works.
@ecutruin@usagiiart Well if they want to continue with AI I'm not stopping them. But for somebody "spending countless hours", why not just pick up a pencil to draw? Isn't that easier? Just glanced through comfyUI, but it seems the basis is still via text to image prompting?
@ecutruin@usagiiart It's not just the effort, it's the knowledge and skills. Without the fundamentals of drawing, you can spend 1000 hours and still not improve. While technology creates efficiency, there are also many skills lost, though it's up to individuals whether they find the trade worth it.
@ecutruin@usagiiart Oh for sure, but I still go back to my argument that art is subjective, hence while I might initially feel insulted because my effort and skills that I spent countless hours on are not recognized, at the end of the day nobody can change your view on whether I am an artist or not.
@ecutruin@usagiiart Yeah, I would say that photography does feel like a shortcut. And for digital art, you have to still learn anatomy, perspective, lighting, colour theory, composition etc. You still have to pick up a "pen" and "draw out the lines". You skip all of these using AI.
@ecutruin@usagiiart Not really. I'll probably get defensive for a good minute, but then again, you can feel whatever you want, I'll just go back and continue drawing my stuff.
@ecutruin@usagiiart You are right, and I might embrace AI art in the future, maybe, who knows? But for now to me it just looks like a massive shortcut for people unwilling (focusing on this term) to put in effort to learn how to draw and just want a simple way out.
