Today i woke up feeling very ill and had to call in sick. Believe me when i say there’s not a thing i hate more than missing a day at work, even if it gets tiring. My heart was shattered into pieces when i got messages from my students asking why i couldn’t come teach them.

Sometimes i wonder if moving out of New York would be a better choice. See, i've been living here for as long as i can remember and the traffic gets worse every single day. Going back and forth with a guitar attached to my back on a skateboard isn't a very healthy option either.

@swansrng I did have one when i was a kid! He passed very suddenly and i was upset, but i don’t really remember much of the experience now. And yes, i have two cats, they’ve been with me for a few years. Do you have any as well?

@accismos It sounds more like a tug of war with two places you love, maybe in different ways. This way, you can bring a little bit of the garden to the lab and a little bit of the lab to the garden. Just don’t be too hard on yourself, i’m pretty sure the plants are willing to forgive.
