@Delta I’ve been on hold for so long that the seats I asked for are no longer avail, this is madness. Causing me to scramble for childcare bc your care agents take literally an hour to come back with an answer.
@Delta Aside from being a poor customer experience, it’s a liability to leave it up to passengers to switch seats to make sure my toddler is sat with me. What am I to do if no one is willing to switch? Risk someone harming my child? Get off the flight and miss the trip?
Kind of crazy how @Delta changed my seats w/o asking, putting my toddler in a different row, but when i asked them to just switch one seat so we could be in the same row, they suddenly “can’t switch w/o permission” 🧐
@rabiasquared We actually went back to our second home in PA this summer to send the kids to summer camp bc even when we had to buy flights, rent a car for a month, etc., it was cheaper to send them to camp there.
@rabiasquared We're at $3,300 in San Francisco for 2 kids, not including any extracurriculars or date nights, etc. We lived in Pennsylvania for 2 years and paid $120/week for fulltime daycare.
On #IndigenousPeoplesDay, we recognize the Lenni-Lenape and Ramaytush Ohlone people whose land our Philadelphia and San Francisco campuses sit on – and honor Indegenous people both past and present.

@heroinebook After listening to 300+ episodes of The History of China podcast while tiling several bathrooms, I read this at their suggestion! It was fascinating.

I now cannot get my toddler the meds that she needs today meaning she cannot go back to school this week and therefore I will not be able to work at full capacity. So thanks for nothing @kpthrive
.@kpthrive makes being a working parent so incredibly difficult. Having had PPOs for years, can confirm that the extra cost is worth the quality of care and clear communication vs what you get with an HMO.
@kpthrive Have given them my correct phone number at every single appointment I've been to for the past 2+ years but for some reason they still have it entered as (000)000-0000 meaning I now missed an tele-appointment for my sick child & it's a 40 min wait to TALK to anyone.
