I’m afraid your math is off @JohnRustad4BC - despite colonial rule for xxx years - today First Nations are still here and we are winning in the courts. Stop fear mongering. Divide and conquer is such a desperate play. Get on board #PaddleTogether it’s our home and native land 🧡
The Eby NDP is undermining YOUR private property rights.
The Haida deal means First Nations title could end up being applied to ALL private property in BC…
This is a mess. #bcpoli
Thrilled that BC has made its mark! Vancouver is hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2026! This is a dream come true for sports fans and a huge boost for tourism and local businesses hit hard by covid. It shows the power of partnership. Check out the details 👉🏽 https://t.co/8a9x90wpcz
It’s never too late to do the right thing. I’m all for economic development and building infrastructure. The BC govt really needs to double down and
introduce initiatives that show their commitment to investing in the trades/ skilled workforce…@UBCIC https://t.co/qlPHsMV3gr
NEW - @Dave_Eby has passed Bill 15 in a tie vote broken by the Speaker. 47-46.
The legislation has collapsed Eby’s relationship w/ First Nations leadership orgs who vow protests and legal challenges for not being consulted.
Cons, Greens and 3 independents all voted against.
We won’t back down. It’s in our DNA to defend our rights and title. So proud of our allies across all sectors & all political stripes for doing the right thing and paddling together. The days of drive by consultations are over. So discouraging to see the BC NDP going backwards.

NEW - Bill 15 - which will fast track public and private infrastructure projects - has passed in the legislature, 47 to 46 with the Speaker breaking the tie. First Nations leaders have vowed to fight the bill in court. Former NDP cabinet minister Melanie Mark has come out against
I don’t tune in to the @bcleg often but I’ll be paying close attention to see how the vote on #Bill15 - Infrastructure Projects Act - aka drive by consultation-
goes down today. @BowinnMa quoted on the radio this AM that reconciliation isn’t for wimps. We’ll have to wait & see.
Time is of the essence. We need to hear from politicians at all levels of govt across #TeamCanada boasting about how they are going to aggressively invest in the trades, post sec & skills training to defend our National interests & build robust industries. https://t.co/6mJBKvoFyT

More to come in the morning but for now: congrats to @christineeboyle, Cailey Lynch and the rest of her endorsers and supporters. To my team, I am so sorry we couldn’t pull this out. We started behind but made up a lot of ground with a fantastic campaign. /1

Murray Sinclair who led the TRC said “Education is what got us here and education is what will get us out.” Congrats @KwantlenU for waiving tuition for students from local First Nations. After all education is a great equalizer #Empower
